India has emerged as the focal point of the global conversation on artificial intelligence this week, as the AI Impact Summit 2026 witnesses world leaders, industry titans, policymakers, and innovators convening at New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam. Running until February 20, it’s being touted as one of the most consequential artificial intelligence gatherings of the year and one of the first major global AI events hosted in the Global South.
