Cypher 2026: AIM’s Best Firm Awards Spotlight 22 Companies Shaping India’s AI Workforce

India’s AI ambitions depend on more than models, computing infrastructure and investment. They also rely on the people who build, integrate and deploy these systems, and the companies working to attract and retain them.

At Cypher 2026, AIM recognised companies through its Best Firm Awards, covering five technology talent categories.

The Best Firm certification uses a data-driven methodology to assess workplaces for AI and data professionals. It evaluates organisations across five dimensions: Learning and Support, Productivity and Engagement, Benefits and Well-being, Rewarding Excellence, and Employee Voice. These cover training, career growth, workplace flexibility, compensation, recognition and employees’ experiences of inclusion and psychological safety.

More than 1,600 professionals participated in an anonymous employee survey that contributed significantly to the final rankings.

The Best Among the Best

The Forward Deployed Engineers category recognised companies working across technology services, AI implementation, engineering and enterprise transformation. These engineers work closely with customers to adapt technology to specific business requirements.

The Women in Tech category recognised Logic Pursuits and WinWire Tech for their workplace environments for women in technology and data roles.

The Data Scientists category recognised nine companies employing professionals who use statistics, analytics and machine learning to generate insights and build predictive models.

Six companies were featured in the combined AI Engineers and AI Professionals category for building AI applications, integrating models into existing systems, and developing the infrastructure needed to run AI in production.

The Data Engineers category recognised LatentView and Logic Pursuits for work involving the data pipelines, platforms and infrastructure that support analytics and AI applications.

As companies move AI projects from experimentation into business operations, technical expertise is only one part of building successful teams. They also need professionals who can work with enterprise customers, manage data and integrate new technologies into existing workflows.

The AIM Best Firm Awards recognise the workplace environments supporting this talent. By bringing together organisations across engineering, data science and AI, the awards highlight the range of capabilities required to develop and deploy enterprise AI.
